Our Story

Chance Encounter Wines began exactly that way — with a chance encounter.

 

After several years apart, our founders, Adam and Troy, ran into each other at their old footy club and started talking about wine. What began as a casual conversation turned into a shared idea: find exceptional fruit, make small amounts of wine, and bottle something worth discovering.

 

Today, viticulturalist Adam, selects specific vines each vintage, sourcing remarkable fruit and crafting small-batch wines that often surprise the people who discover them.

 

Because sometimes the best wines are the ones you weren’t expecting to find.
