2021 Adelaide Hills Chardonnay
Our 2021 single vineyard Adelaide Hills Chardonnay hails from vines in the Woodside sub-region.
The fruit was selectively handpicked from only certain rows and then whole bunch pressed straight to older french oak barrels, where the juice was allowed to ferment naturally.
The end result is a wine that will refresh and fill your palate every time you take a sip.
Woodside's consistent quality
Our 2021 Adelaide Hills Chardonnay (B95 Clone) is sourced from a vineyard located just a stone’s-throw of the Woodside township.
We've enjoyed a close association with many vineyards in the Adelaide Hills area since 1998 and know where to look for fruit with the perfect flavour and acid balance. This vineyard in particular, consistently produces high quality Chardonnay year on year and it was a privilege to be able to hand select a parcel suitable for
Chance Encounter Wines.
Hand selecting only the best fruit
We source the best fruit to bring you a high quality wine for that vintage, no matter where we have to roam.
The latest release of our 2021 Adelaide Hills Chardonnay was selectively sourced from Woodside where conditions in 2021 were ideal for quality winemaking.
Whilst in 2018 we found beautiful grapes from the Paradigm Vineyard in the heart of Marananga in the Barossa Valley, and in 2020 the Delabole subregion of McLaren Vale produced high quality grapes resulting in full-flavoured wines.
2020 McLaren Vale Release
Our 2020 release wines are perfectly balanced expressions of the McLaren Vale environ.
Each sourced from single vineyards in the Delabole subregion, our McLaren Vale Shiraz and Cabernet drops are refined and elegant.
2018 Barossa Release
Two bold Barossa reds that will stand the test of time. Both hail from the old vines of Paradigm Vineyard in the Barossa Valley’s premium sub-region, Marananga.
