2021 Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

Our 2021 single vineyard Adelaide Hills Chardonnay (B95 Clone) is sourced from vines in the Woodside sub-region.

The Bernard (or Dijon) clone 95, sourced from the Burgundy region in France, was imported into Australia in the late 80’s.  This particular clone is known for its tight and minerally acidity, and intense citrus fruit characters.

When grown in the Adelaide Hills it performs best in the cooler locations around Woodside, Lenswood and Piccadilly, and it’s an added bonus when vintage conditions are ideal (like in 2021!).

The fruit in our 2021 Adelaide Hills Chardonnay was sourced from a vineyard located just a stone’s-throw north of the Woodside township.

Grapes were selectively handpicked from only certain rows and then whole bunch pressed straight to older french oak barrels, where the juice was allowed to ferment naturally.

The end result is a wine that will refresh and fill your palate every time you take a sip.

This is a strictly limited release with only 800 bottles produced.
